Park WandererFall 2024
Yale University
Through these images, I explore the park as a space of transformation, refuge, and quiet exploration. More than just a patch of green or a playground, the park becomes a liminal space—a place where the everyday meets the extraordinary. In this environment, I am constantly drawn to the subtle ways in which familiar surroundings shift into something new with each visit. Whether it’s the shift in perspective, the items found on the ground, or a new interaction, every moment holds potential for discovery. The park is a sanctuary where the mind and body can move freely—an escape from the noise of daily life and a return to a state of curiosity and wonder. It offers a refuge for introspection and renewal, where every path walked and every corner turned holds the possibility for a small revelation. These are not just places to idle, but to become, to transform into a different version of ourselves. Through this work, I hope to capture the fleeting moments of stillness, the wonder in the small, and the way the park constantly invites us to pause, reflect, and rediscover the world around us.
