The Chinese American Student Association, otherwise known as CASA, celebrates the culture and community among the Chinese Americans at Yale. Having been CASA’s Communications and Designs Chair, my role was figuring out how to best visually capture the spirit of connection and joy that highlighted every social and cultural events we hosted from our annual Cultural Show to the occassional mahjong nights.
Additionally, I co-led CASA’s Initiatives Chair, bringing forth new ideas that celebrated our unique aspects of our Chinese identity. We designed a celebratory zine, organized weekly basketball pick-up runs, and started our own chili oil line.
